Create, maintain and present detailed operating plans for the business and partner with business stakeholders to create department budgets.
Provide insightful analysis with regards to historical data and trends to support decision making and future business initiatives.
Utilize data and metrics from across the company to understand the business as a whole and communicate this information proactively to the executive team.
Partner with the Head of People to advise on compensation efforts, including equity, bonus and commission planning.
Manage the monthly forecasting process for revenue and expenses with exceptional organization and communication.
Be the subject matter expert on financial KPIs and trends.
Prepare the monthly management reports to present to the Board of Directors and company shareholders as necessary by preparing and compiling data and analytics.
Oversee external firms (accounting/tax) and ensure accuracy of monthly accounting processes.
Identify additional needs on the team and lead hiring efforts while helping with overall org design and career pathing efforts.
Job Requirements:
8+ years of finance experience with 3+ years FP&A experience is ideal.
CPA or CFA certification is a bonus.
Experience in a high-growth startup environment is a plus.
An analytical mindset with the ability to breakdown and communicate financial findings and results to a variety of audiences.
You have the ability to think strategically while also being able to dig into the details as needed.
Excellent communication skills with experience influencing and educating cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong expertise as a team manager who can help with ongoing career pathing and coaching.
