No. Kashier charges only on successful transactions. Refunds and failed attempts are not billed.

Is VAT added on top of the transaction fee?

Nothing is added to your transaction amount — this is not a tax on your sales. VAT (14%) applies to the Kashier fee only. Example: on a 100 EGP payment at a 1% Kashier rate, the fee is EGP 1 and the VAT is just EGP 0.14 — 14% of the one-pound fee, not of the 100. It appears on your Kashier fee invoice.
